    Nordic.design takes place 9 October at Magasin 9 which is located at Frihamnsgatan 66, 115 56 Stockholm.  Remember to bring swimwear 🏊🏾‍♀️

    How to get to Nordic.design

    There are a lot of people coming to Nordic.design and our guess is that the regular buses will be quite crammed, we've therefor booked buses that'll be going from Handelsbanken at Värtavägen 69 near Gärdet metro station to Magasin 9 back and forth between 08.15-11.00 tomorrow. 

    Other great ways to get to Magasin 9 is by bike, car (there are lots of parking lots right by the venue) or walking. 

    Tickets

    If you haven't updated your ticket details yet, now is definitely the time to do so. Simply search your inbox for "Here's your ticket to Nordic.design" and follow the link. This is extra important if you're an allergic or have special food preferences. Wednesday, 2 October is the last day to update your ticket information.

    Registration

    When you register you'll get a wristband which will give you access to the conference.

    Lightning talks

    We will have two lightning talk sessions at the conference, all conference attendees are welcome to contribute. Each talk should be around 5 minutes long - you can apply for a slot when you get to the conference or send in a proposal now. 

    Code In The Dark

    We’re organizing  Code in the dark  together with our friends at Shopify! The event will take place on 11 October at the after party for Nordic.js. Code in the Dark is a competition where front-end development meets smoke machines and lasers. Given a screenshot of a website, the contestants have 15 minutes to replicate it using HTML/CSS, without previewing the result. The winner in each heat is decided by the audience. The competition continues until there's only one contestant left — the Champion of the Dark.

    Efterfesten

    This year we’ve decided to make Festen a little bit different and a little bit more intimate than previous years. Putting a stronger focus on enabling conference attendees to connect and meet with other conference attendees in a playful and fun atmosphere. We’re calling it: Efterfesten.

    With that said; the sauna wagon is booked, so is the bathtub, the barber & Phils Burgers. There will be VR, board games, Silent Disco, Code in the dark, plenty of interactive experiences and like always, free tattoos. We hope you’ll stay for it - it should be fun!
